Panoramic Displays

The next evolution in the 2021 Sea-Doo Life is here with the all-new 7.8-inch Full Color Display. It’s the industry’s first Bluetooth-enabled gauge that takes every ride to the next level with smartphone app compatibility, ambient light sensing display, crystal clear hi-def view of vehicle vitals and simple push-button operation directly from the handlebars. Stay aware of weather, find your favorite tunes, and navigate your way through the day right from the dash of your watercraft.

Intelligent Debris Free – or iDF

The next intelligent watercraft technology from Sea-Doo offers a new level of peace of mind. The Intelligent Debris Free – or iDF – pump system allows riders to clear a clogged intake without ever leaving the seat of your watercraft. Standard on the Fish PRO and GTX Limited and optional on the GTX 170 and 230, iDF reverses the water flow through intake to clear debris that may have been ingested during watercraft operation. It’s the next Sea-Doo innovation to enable worry-free operation which leads to more fun, catching more fish and living the Sea-Doo Life a little better.

Prepare your boat for winter…

We hope you’ve had an enjoyable summer of boating, but it’s time to think about Winter!

We have already noticed the change in weather and with fewer occasions to use your boat it’s important to properly prepare for the winter season.

Engine

A winter service is essential to the long term health of your engine.
No matter what size or type or how much use it has had, leaving contaminated oil in the engine over the winter will lead to greater wear and tear and reduced engine life.

Exterior

A clean and polish will help to protect your boat. Mould and moss have less to cling to if the boat is clean and the crevices are free of dust and dirt. It is also a good idea to inspect the hull for cracks or blisters.

Inside

Remove anything that could cause a smell and remove soft furnishings that could get damp and moldy.

Plumbing

Disconnect water pumps and drain them. Any water left in the pipes could freeze and cause splits.

Don’t neglect…

To stop condensation in fuel tanks, they should be full.
Fuel should be treated with a stabiliser to keep it fresh and prevent corrosion.
Prevent batteries from freezing or degenerating by keeping them charged.
Remove soft furnishings wherever possible to prevent damp and mould.
Ensure your boat is covered.
Visit your boat from time to time to turn over the engine, charge the batteries and inspect. Or contact Salterns Marina Reception should you like us to check anything for you.
